Mission’s is the core of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. The Great Commission is the core of all ministry. It is imperative that we establish a missions’ vision for the church, develop a prayer strategy for missions, plan mission festivals, educate and inspire our congregation concerning mission needs and opportunities, seek out and provide short-term mission trips, encourage missionaries, evaluate missionaries and programs for support, and promote a missions’ scholarship travel fund. Therefore the mission team understands that it must have an impact on all other departments influenced by our local mission statement of “strengthening families through Christ.” The result is that we will assist fathers and mothers and teaching, inspiring, and training children and youth to have a heart for Missions.

• Mission Comittee
• Send mission team members to advanced training through AMC
• Educate/inspire congregation on special mission work on a bi-monthly basis. (Use Alliance Video Magazine consistently)
• Provide children’s mission resources for Kids of The Kingdom presentation once a quarter.
• To provide fathers and mothers, with missions resources that they can teach their children to pray for countries, missionaries, and projects around the world.
• Provide to each home a monthly subscription to A-Life to educate and inspire our people to Alliance missions.
• To work closely with District Alliance Women to ensure that the outfit calls from the district are properly provided for by special offering.

• Mission Conferences
• Develop our mission festivals into high celebration moments.
• Establish our church as a special tour mission’s conference by the end of 2006.
• Set Annual giving goals (see Stewardship).

• Missions Trips
• Plan for short-term mission trips every two years.

• Missions Church Partnership
• Explore again a possible partnership with a fledgling Polish evangelical church for the purpose of encouraging and strengthening our vision and their ministry.
• Establish an ongoing partnership with the Damascus Assyrian Church in 2005.

• Mission Stewardship
• Promote contributions to the travel scholarship fund.
• Establish missions giving goal of $30,000 by end of 2007.
